The Welcome Project carries out, through the activities of the Cultural Calendar, at least one monthly meeting that addresses a topic related to Brazilian culture, whose main objective is to present historical and social aspects of the country to international students. Participation in these activities is a great opportunity for interaction and discussion, as well as assisting in the integration among students.
Through these meetings, international students find an opportunity to practice the Portuguese language and learn more about the Brazilian identity, as well as being able to present a little of their local culture through a pluralistic debate.

To participate, the student must fill out a registration form provided before each event. Information about each activity is announced in advance by the Welcome Project team on the social media channels of the Office of International Relations/UFOP and via email.
O Projeto Welcome realiza, por meio das atividades do Calendário Cultural, ao menos uma reunião mensal que trata de algum tema relacionado à cultura brasileira, cujo principal objetivo é apresentar aos estudantes internacionais aspectos históricos e sociais do país. A participação nessas atividades é uma ótima oportunidade de interação e debate, além de auxiliar na integração entre os alunos.
Por meio dessas reuniões, os estudantes internacionais encontram uma oportunidade de praticar a língua portuguesa e aprender um pouco mais sobre a identidade brasileira, além de também poderem apresentar um pouco da sua cultura local, por meio de um debate plural.

Para participar, o estudante deve preencher um formulário de inscrição disponibilizado antes de cada evento. Informações sobre cada atividade são divulgadas com antecedência pela equipe do Projeto Welcome nas redes sociais da Diretoria de Relações Internacionais/UFOP e por e-mail.
