Professor Éden Peretta, from UFOP Graduate Program in Performing Arts (PPGAC), offered the workshop “Choreodramaturgical Atlas” in collaboration with the Master’s Program in Choreographic Creation and Professional Practices, invited by the Lisbon School of Dance (ESD) of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Portugal. The collaboration stems from his partnership with the institution, since 2023 when he participated in a faculty recruitment committee.

Commenting on the experience of offering the workshop, the professor stated: “It is a very enriching experience, as it strengthens my relationship with ESD. In addition, the group of students is highly qualified in the field, which allows us to engage with deeper levels of experimentation related to my postdoctoral research.”

The workshop is the result of his postdoctoral research project, “Choreodramaturgical Atlas: A Method for Dance Creation Through the Critical and Negative Use of Images,” funded by Fapemig through the Mobility Confap Italy call, under the supervision of Professor Samantha Marenzi.
